CSI: Miami

This iteration of CSI:Miami is a Java-based mobile game that is adapted from the PC game. It is a crime-solving adventure based on the TV show of the same name and features the original cast (in name and appearance only) with extensive police procedure simulation parts. The game features only one case: the drowning of a young girl whose lifeless body was found ashore on the city beach. Of course, nothing is straightforward to solve in CSI and you will have to work your way through hidden motives and lies to uncover the truth behind the crime.

The gameplay consists of several parts: an investigation of a crime scene where you need to discover all the required evidence and collecting it using the right tools, a CSI crime lab where you need to analyze the collected samples or materials and a police station where you can summon the suspects to question them. Additionally there is a morgue where you can examine the bodies of the deceased in further detail and get the coroner report. Working in the lab includes several mini-games. For processing DNA for instance you need to complete a tile matching game. The interrogation requires you to present the right piece of evidence to make the suspect talk. The game features a touch interface with mostly static screens.
