Summer Vacation

Summer Vacation is a collection of visual novel stories which take place one year after the events of D.C.P.C.: Da Capo - Plus Communication. The player once again controls Junichi Asakura as he spends summer vacation with his friends. This game features three episodes to play through, each containing two different romanceable heroines.

  • Desert Island Chapter (無人島編): Junichi and his friends go on a luxury cruise in the Tsukishiro family's boat, but it crashes and they wash up on a desert island where they must fend for themselves. The heroines in this chapter are Nemu Asakura and Alice Tsukishiro, but Miharu Amakase and Nanako Saitama appear as well.
  • Western Mansion Chapter (洋館編): Junichi is invited to a luxurious Western-style mountain villa by Misaki Sagisawa and Moe Mizukoshi. Their fun is soon interrupted by an ominous presence, and strange events begin to happen. The heroines in this chapter are Sakura Yoshino and Tamaki Konomiya, but Moe Mizukoshi, Misaki Sagisawa, and Asumi Kiryuu appear as well.
  • Amusement Park Chapter (遊園地編): Junichi wants to take his girlfriend to an amusement park called Sakura Park which has recently been renovated on Hatsunejima. He invites his girlfriend out after winning a pair of tickets in a district lottery, but they begin to fight over something insignificant. Will they be able to make up before the end of the day? The heroines of this chapter are Kotori Shirakawa and Kanae Kudou, but Mako Mizukoshi, Izumiko Murasaki, Kanako Saeki, and Tomoko Morikawa appear as well.

Bonus Games

  • After Banana 2: The sequel to After Banana from the first Da Capo fandisk, D.C.: White Season. Like the first game, After Banana 2 is a shooting game where the player controls a character who must save Hatsunejima after the malfunctioning cherry blossom tree at the heart of the island turns the other heroines evil. The player can choose to play as Miharu Amakase, Izumiko Murasaki, or Sakura Yoshino. The aim of the game is to defeat the boss in each stage by shooting them while avoiding their attacks. Bosses now have an anger gauge that causes them to attack more furiously when filled. Another new feature is the partner system, where the player can choose from one of three options for partners to gain special bonus effects. The partner options are: Kanako Saeki & Tomoko Morikawa, who grant the player temporary invincibility; Koyomi Shirakawa, who increases the player's attack power; and Suginami, who allows the player to speed things up by filling up the boss's anger gauge in one hit.
  • The Natsumatsuri!! Hatsunejima Pinball (ザ・夏祭り!! 〜初音島ピンボール〜): A pinball game themed around the summer festival in the nighttime, played from a top-down view. The objective is to score as many points as possible without losing the ball.
  • Akazu no Tobira (開かずの扉): A minigame where the player must sort differently-colored Utamarus in a specific order based on hints. There can be four or eight Utamarus.
  • Gekisha! Coaster (激写!コースター): A minigame where the player must take pictures of Junichi Asakura and Mako Mizukoshi riding a roller coaster. The player uses the mouse to right or left click when passing a point on a horizontally scrolling screen.
  • Ara, Konna Tokoro ni…○× ga!? (あら、こんなところに…○×が!?): An ○× quiz minigame played against the computer where the player must click at the right time to get points.

Bonus Content

  • Izumiko Drawing Song (和泉子えかきうた): A music video featuring Izumiko Murasaki.
