Dakar Rally 2009
Description
Dakar Rally 2009 is a 3D racing game based around the annual Dakar desert rally that started on 3rd January 2009 and was held for the first time in South America, in Argentina and Chile. The stages can be explored in three game modes: Quick Rally, Time Attack and Championship. Quick Rally consists of randomly selected tracks once they are unlocked by completing them in the Championship mode. In the main Championship mode the player races alone and the time is compared against the other (invisible) racers for the overall progress. In the Quick Rally mode a race consists of several laps against opponents that are also on the track and can be crashed into. The focus is on driving, there are no power-ups or arcade elements.
