Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut

Director's Cut was released roughly three years after the original version, and is more of an enhanced version than a remake.

The main updates in comparison to the original game are:

• Graphics - enhanced with redrawn textures, new lighting and shading and 3D support
• Controls - updated and with PlayStation Move support
• Story - extended with additional cutscenes between chapters.
• Difficulty - no difficulty level selection. The game is generally set around the older version's easy mode.

The later released version for the Switch is based on the PC version of the Director's Cut, except now the cutscenes were removed. Also no DLC that was available for the Director's Cut version is no longer available and can not be found in game for the Switch version.
