Deep Space Cache

Deep Space Cache is a 2D asteroid shooting game with many upgrades. The basic gameplay loop is to harvest asteroids. Here, the player is given a limited amount of energy to destroy asteroids and harvest the resources contained within. There are multiple weapons available, from the basic shooter, to rotating bullets, to lasers. There are multiple color-coded asteroids available that contain different resources and are increasingly difficult to destroy, as well as white asteroids that give power-ups. These power-ups include double damage, faster movement speed, or increased resource capture range. Once the player runs out of energy, they can either start a new run, or return.

Between harvesting rounds, there are various generators to upgrade. Each generator gives the player bits, once a minute. Each generator is upgraded with a different resource. Bits are used to buy upgrades for the harvesting phase. These upgrades are divided into four main categories: Attack power, attack speed, energy usage, and asteroid spawn rate, though there are upgrades inside each area that do special things, like allowing power-up asteroids to give new bonuses.
