Defender of the Favicon

This is a Defender clone in the unlikeliest of places, the 16x16 square that forms the favicon of a browser. The game turns the icon into an interactive game by generating each frame as a PNG image on the fly and setting it as the icon. As such the player is able to move around in real-time and shoot lasers at ships above a ruined city. When the browser is too slow to update, it can also be played using a canvas display on the site's page.
