Deflect

Deflect is a 1-player arcade game for the VIC-20.

The player tries to hit targets with a bouncing ball for points. The bouncing ball will move continuously in one direction until it hits a bat, which will change the direction by 90 degrees depending on bat direction. Targets 1 - F appear sequentially, and a new one appears when the active target is hit. A bat can be placed at any time at the location of the ball, and persists throughout the game. The goal is to eliminate all 15 targets in minimal time. A penalty is assessed for too many bats placed.
