Demon Decorator

Demon Decorator is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro.

Chased by a demon octopus, the player controls a paint roller trying to color in all lines of a 6 x 7 grid. The roller moves along lines, and when a level begins only the edges of the screen have paint. The player must start at an active section, and can draw up to three line segments before running out of paint. If this happens, the lines painted are lost. If the player completes a small rectangle they receive points, and the edges of the rectangle become active.

A level is complete when all rectangles are filled. The octopus chases the player around each level, costing a life if it catches up. Every level the octopus moves faster. The player starts with three smart bombs which temporarily stun the octopus. More can be picked up on the maze. When a level is completed, the player is awarded one life and one smart bomb.
