Desert Rider

Desert Rider is a 1-player arcade game for the TRS-80 CoCo.

Test Tandy's all-terrain XR-2200 racer by taking it to its limit on a treacherous cross-desert race track. The player moves horizontally, and can accelerate and decelerate. The object is to complete each course as fast as possible, while avoiding rocks, holes, sharp turns, and other riders. After completing the fourth race, the three tracks become more difficult, and are selected at random. The player starts with a 3 crash allowance, and receives an additional allowance for each course finished. There are 3 levels of difficulty, and the game is over when the player runs out of crashes.
