Detective Masochist: The Case of the Femdom Torture is a Japanese adult visual novel which follows Hikaru Shiga, a weak-willed and lazy young man who fancies himself a detective, though his middling detective work results in him barely being able to make ends meet. The closest thing he has to a girlfriend is his beautiful childhood friend Satomi Komatsu, who reluctantly assumes the role of his partner, sensing that Hikaru cannot safely be left to his own devices. Their entirely non-sexual relationship changes one day after Satomi meets a mysterious man who seems to transform her entire personality, turning her into a perverted sadist who delights in sexually torturing Hikaru. Realizing that he will not be able to resist her punishments for much longer, Hikaru resolves to track down the mysterious man who changed his friend, but does he truly want the change reversed?

At specific points throughout the game, the player can make choices which will determine where the story goes. The game features voice acting for the female characters only.
