Digger III: The Saint's Ascension

Digger III: The Saint's Ascension is a 1-player arcade game for the TRS-80 CoCo.

The player controls a character who can move laterally, climb ladders, and dig small holes in the ground to trap enemies. The game features lateral and vertical scrolling. The character must collect gold and other treasures from a series of platforms, and take it to the top-most ladder to advance to the next level. Enemy Gomers relentlessly pursue the player, and take their life if they catch them. Enemies can pick up treasures,, and the player must trap the enemy in a pit to retrieve the treasure. Enemies can be killed by trapping them in pits, and new enemies then immediately appear. There are hidden trap doors and floors that can not be dug into. Enemies can only exit and enter ladders from the top or the bottom, while a player can exit or enter a ladder at any point. The player starts with 5 lives
