Digital Songlines: Irene's World

Digital Songlines: Irene's World is an Australian educational product that simulates the life of the Gunggari people.

The aim of the project is to provide an educational and historical resource that records the language, stories and art of the Gunggari people. To that end Irene's World creates a 3D environment in which the landscape, wildlife, plant life, settlements and the Gunggari language and way of life are simulated. Gameplay is similar to any role playing game with the player's character meeting with others and performing tasks, while performing these tasks they learn about how plants were used for food, building, and making tools; how animals were hunted and so-on.

The game was released in its beta test form
