Description
Dodo Lair is a 1-player side-scrolling arcade game for the VIC-20.
The Dodo army is of enormous dimensions, and soon its attack on mankind will commence. Exploring the outer regions of a weird landscape, your second hand 'ground skimmer' has only a single laser in its armoury.
The player controls a space ship at the right of the screen that moves vertically and fires horizontally to the left. The player encounters a number of enemies, including: Henpek, Mult, B.B., Prong, Pole, Builda, Wally, and Rada. Enemies approach from the left, and the player must dodge or blast their way through obstacles. Game play is divided into 9 waves, and the player starts a harder challenge if they pass a section. The player starts with 5 lives, and a new life is gained every 10,000 points or upon completing a wave. .
