Downpour

It's raining men. You have a basket.

An emergency in an office building is causing men to jump out the windows. Worst of all, they're in a terrible hurry and often jump two at a time from any of five floors, with little forewarning. In this arcade game you maneuver a large basket to catch them just before they hit the ground (with an audible splat, but no gore -- these are Model I/III graphics). The jumpers have a fair horizontal reach, too, so you have to hustle back and forth, and lead them just a bit. If you get in over your head, you can bounce one back up in the air, so you have time to catch someone else in between.

Misses rack up with gruesome speed in the sidebar of the single graphical screen, and five wraps it up, giving you time at last to examine your score. You'll probably want to keep your day job.
