Dr. Mindwarp
Description
Dr. Mindwarp is a 1-player arcade game for the 8-bit Atari.
In the not-so-distant future, computers have replaced men. The minds and thought processes of brilliant men are transferred to computer memory banks, and stored forever in fortified robots. The robot of Dr. Mindwarp has made off with classified data, and the player must reach their fortress to prevent disaster.
The player controls a ship that moves in all directions. Enemy ships and asteroids approach from the right of the screen. The player tries to reach the right of the screen while avoiding incoming dangers, each time they do this the distance to target reduces by 10,000 units. The player has limited fuel to accomplish this. When the player is hit, they appear again at the left of the screen. If the player reaches their destination, they must then successfully dock with Dr. Mindwarp's fortress.
