Game cover: Dr. Seuss: Preschool

Description

Dr. Seuss: Preschool is an educational game which aims to teach children about reading and math. The player controls the elephant Horton who searches for Elma Sue's missing mother. However, he needs to enlist the help of other animals, all characters from Dr. Seuss' stories, by solving their reading and math problems. There are eight activities with three difficulty levels available:

  • Mayzie's ABC's: Dragging eggs with letters to their correct place in the alphabet.

  • Floob Phonics: Matching two identical letters by clicking on them. In the two higher difficulty levels, the player needs to click on the picture which depicts a word starting with the same letter (or the other way around).

  • Pop's Rhymes: Clicking on the picture which depicts a word rhyming with the given word.

  • Monkey Matching: Matching two identical letters by clicking on them. The two higher difficulties use standard Concentration rules. In the highest difficulty, the player needs to match the letter with a picture which depicts a word starting with the same letter.

  • Yertle's Counting Turtles: Collecting either the correctly numbered turtles or the correct number of turtles.

  • Fox in Socks Sorting: Sorting socks in the correct boxes. They differ in size and color.

  • Fish Follies: Finding the correct fish (they differ in size and a symbol on their side) and coloring it with a certain color.

  • Sneezlebee 123's: Matching two identical numbers by clicking on them. The two higher difficulties use standard Concentration rules. In the highest difficulty, the player needs to match the number and its written equivalent.
