Earth Trooper
Description
Earth Trooper is a 1-player arcade game for the TRS-80 CoCo.
You destroyed the Space Invaders with ease, and you were instantly a hero. Next came slime monsters and alien invaders, as well as Martian Meanies and a horde of other evil menaces. Just when you thought it couldn't get worse, the Robo-Force arrived on Earth to spoil your day.
The player controls a ship on the bottom of the screen that moves laterally and fires vertically. Every hit destroys a portion of the non-moving robots at the top of the screen. A protector bar moves between you and the robots. If you shoot this, you are hit by its tractor beam and lose a life. At the top of the screen, a scout ship moves laterally, and occasionally drops bombs. A scout ship at the bottom of the screen intermittently fires towards the player. The player starts with 3 lives.
