End of Nations

Description
End of Nations was originally envisioned as a real-time strategy (RTS) in a sci-fi setting.
It was planned to have both a meta campaign on the world map and a multiplayer mode in which up to 56 players could engage against each other, taking control of one of two factions, with two separate commander classes with alternate play styles: the Liberation Front (Spartan and Patriot classes) and the Shadow Revolution (Wraith and Phantom classes). Both factions fight against The Order of Nations, who has positioned itself as a global government, but also fight each other on how a new world order needs to be established - the Liberation Front are revolutionaries with heavy units gathered from former world superpowers, while the Shadow Revolution are a recent splinter faction of The Order of Nations and have high-tech equipment.
The game was to have a progression system that allowed players to unlock units, abilities, superweapons and customization options. Only cosmetics and subscriptions were announced to be purchasable for real-world currency, as the developers wanted to avoid certain players gaining advantage over others by paying more, but the exact content that the subscriptions would include was never explained.
In July 2013, it was announced that the game was converted into a MOBA and initial heroes were showcased. Little data from this period survived, as in late 2013, the game was put on indefinite hold (effectively cancelled), and by 1 March 2014, Trion Worlds' website erased all mention of the game.
