Eurisko
Description
Written in collaboration with historians from the University of Aix-en-Provence, France, Eurisko is an educational software product about ancient Greece. Users can browse the different themes covered: war, economy, history, sports (the Olympic Games), politics, lifestyle, literature, education, art, science or religion.
The hybrid CD-ROM also offer half a dozen of games: word games, tests, mythological and historical characters identification and so on.
Developed using Macromedia Director, Eurisko runs on both Mac OS System 7 and Windows 3.1 platforms, but also on Windows 3.0 if its Multimedia Extensions are installed.
