F-1 Chequered Flag

F-1 Chequered Flag is a single player racing game which can be played in multiplayer mode over a LAN or internet connection. By default the game is keyboard controlled but the controls can be redefined to use a steering wheel, Logitech and Trust brands are specifically referred to as 'supported' in the game's manual, or a mouse.

This is not a racing simulation with detailed race management and car mechanics. It is a fun game with four degrees of difficulty and eight tracks to race on, of which only one track is available at the start of the game the others being unlocked by winning races. The cars are generic and are not modeled on real racing cars, they take no damage during collisions and have a 'nitro boost' option for an extra burst of speed.

In addition to the race mode there is also a 'Ghost Race' option in which the player can try to better their time on any unlocked track by racing against their previous best lap in the ghost car.
