Famicom Detective Club: The Girl Who Stands Behind

Description
Famicom Detective Club: The Girl Who Stands Behind is a modern remake of Famicom Tantei Club Part II: Ushiro ni Tatsu Shōjo, a visual novel for the original Famicom released in 1989. It is technically the second game in the series, following Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir but actually takes place shortly before that title, making it a prequel. The remake adds new graphics, animation and voice acting.
The game follows the teenage protagonist as he investigates the death of a high school student at a school with a rather shady history. The player must explore the school's campus and interrogate the faculty and students, to uncover not only the circumstances of the girl's death, but also of a ghostly figure known as "The Girl Who Stands Behind." All of the dialogue options are presented in a text menu, with newly available options highlighted in yellow. When investigating, the player will use a cursor to select and examine items in the environment. This title expands on the game play of the first game by adding some quiz-like elements throughout the game to see if the player has been paying attention.
