FDC Live Cockpit!

FDC Live Cockpit is an add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator 98, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004.

FDC, short for Flight Deck Companion, is a cockpit environment with cockpit sounds, messages and selectable crew calls through the flight. The application is an external program, that is configured for different profiles, and runs in the background of the normal flight simulator. These profiles are then triggered by the player during different phases of the flight to give a more realistic feel of the flight, e.g. checklist read-back, cabin crew instructions etc. The predefined profiles are made for 18 standard +12 add-on aircraft (provided you have them). There is an optional 'virtual copilot' that reacts to commands from the captain for flap/gear calls. E.g. the captain's flap setting calls are triggered by the external program reading the aircraft speed during climb/descent phase.

Note that there is no 'dummy' crew visible in the cockpit, just the sound and actions are implemented.
