Final Destiny: Beyond the End of the World
Description
Final Destiny: Beyond the End of the World is a side scrolling hack 'n' slash action RPG.
A wandering female warrior comes across a orphaned baby after a battle. Deciding to take him with her she names him Corrin. She must now try to protect it as she makes her way through the war torn and monster-filled lands.
Basic movement consists of walking left to right, double-tapping to run, attacking, or doding (with a short cool-down). Special attacks, potions and summoned creatures can also be equipped, as can a wide range of armor and weapons. Attacks and special attacks can be stringed together into various combos.
If hit by a strong attack Corrin might be dropped; he must then be retrieved before being able to attack again.
Slain enemies frequently drop gold coins or equipment. Unwanted equipment can be sold, or disassemle for scrap ores, in between stages.
Back in camp you can also upgrade gear, change skill loadouts, or mine safely for ores.
The journey goes through several lands, divided into numerous stages each, accessible from a world map. Each level has the goal to simply defeat all the enemies in it, sometimes headed by a boss monster or two. Occasionally you'll come across a puzzle room where a skill tome can be retrieved by solving some simple cipher puzzle.
