Fingers on Buzzers

Game cover: Fingers on Buzzers

Description

Fingers on Buzzers is an interactive DVD game for two to four players. What makes this game different to many others is the inclusion of four individual buzzers with five buttons. These are connected by wire to an infra-red device which 'talks' to the DVD player telling it which player pushed which button.

There are two games to be played here, the short game which consists of five rounds each with six questions and the long game which has seven rounds each with eight questions. Players score one thousand points for each correct answer with the points going to the player who presses their buzzer the fastest. Guessing is to be avoided as players can lose a thousand points for an incorrect answer. At some point during the game, provided players are not tied on the same score, the game will play a 'Shake 'em Up' round where scores can be swapped or points can be stolen.

Scores are announced at the end of the round and if there is a tie at the end of the game.

The rounds vary considerably in content from basic spelling and mental arithmetic, a whack-a-mole like round where the player has to press the appropriate coloured button when a specific picture appears, identifying objects in pixelated images or a person from a sound clip. All questions and instructions are fully voiced throughout the game.
