Fireground

Fireground is an arcade/strategy game for the Apple II.

The player controls a fire truck in a large city. The player starts off as a rookie, but gains more ranks as they successfully fight fires. The player starts in their fire station, and they are given a verbal location of their fire station over the radio. There is no text description of the location. The player must decipher the purposefully garbled message, and then navigate the 3-dimensional grid-like streets to that location. If the player runs into a wall, they must return to their fire station.

After the player reaches the fire, they enter an arcade sequence where they must put out the fire.
