Fog

Fog is a 1-player arcade game for the 8-bit Atari.

World War II has begun, and President Roosevelt has just announced his lend-lease program to supply Britain with ships and planes to defend against Nazi attack. The player must guide the battleship "America" across the Atlantic amidst dense fog in waters crawling with Nazi ships determined to keep the ship from reaching England.

The player tries to navigate their ship from the left to the right of the screen while avoiding incoming vessels. To complicate matters, enemy ships only appear through the fog for a brief period before flickering out again. The player receives 100 points each time they cross the screen, but if they hit an object they are repositioned back to the left. The goal is to maximize score over 3 minutes of play.
