Fushigi no Dungeon: Fūrai no Shiren 4 - Kami no Hitomi to Akuma no Heso
Description
Fushigi no Dungeon: Fūrai no Shiren 4 – Kami no Hitomi to Akuma no Heso is a role-playing game and the fourth main entry in the Shiren the Wanderer series, which forms part of the Mystery Dungeon franchise. The story follows the wanderer Shiren and his companion, the talking weasel Koppa, as they set out for a desert region after completing a journey through Tsukikage Village. Their voyage is disrupted when their ship is caught in a storm and destroyed, leading them to land on the southern island of Kahitan. Mistaken for a monster by the islanders, Shiren is nearly executed before being rescued by Kamina, a young villager. After aiding monsters, Kamina is imprisoned, and a priest declares that her life can be saved only by retrieving a legendary treasure known as the Eye of the Jaguar.
Gameplay centers on exploring monster-filled dungeons that change layout each time they are entered. A day–night cycle alters the difficulty of these environments, with night increasing both the complexity of navigation and the strength of encountered creatures. Dungeons consist of multiple rooms connected by narrow corridors and may contain traps that hinder progress. Certain dungeons allow the player to hide behind doors that enemies cannot enter, though foes are still able to attack through these barriers.
