FX·Unit Yuki
Description
Yuki Shirokawa has a love for video games. Her go to console is the JEC FX Engine. She gets a job at JEC as a game tester. During her apprenticeship, she stumbles into JEC's newest console and becomes a virtual reality hero FX·Unit Yuki, who then finds herself in a digital battle against JEC's deadly rival company SG Corporation and their own VR prototype Ultra Drive Unit-Geni, who are intent on a total digital market takeover.
The game requires the player to navigate Yuki across platforming stages, utilizing Yuki's abilities to destroy enemies and make it through difficult sections. Each time Yuki picks up a special chip, she gains additional abilities. Certain stages act as horizontal scrolling shooters for a change of pace. Stages throughout the game allude to existing games like Wonder Boy and Castlevania.
