UFO Senshi Yoko Chan
Description
UFO Senshi Yoko Chan is a 2D shooter where the character Yoko the Warrior enters the parallel worlds to fight against an alien menace to save Earth. Levels have some maze-like elements and consists of several single screen strung together using the flip-screen mechanic. Yoko can freely move around and shoot. She can collect coins left behind by enemies and these are used at shops to buy power-ups.
Some levels have sections that lead to Adventure World variants. They are more traditional 2D side-scrolling levels where the screen moves at a fixed speed and there are platforming sections.
