Galaxion

Galaxion is a fixed screen shoot 'em up which despite its name is not based in particular on Galaxian. It is also different from the Oric game with the same title also published by Loriciels. Instead, the game features three different stages with different enemy formations. After the third stage, it is back to the first one again but at a higher difficulty. The first stage is most similar to Space Invaders and features four rows of invaders that move back and forth while dropping projectiles at the player. The second and third stages are different and have aliens swirling around the screen based on two different movement patterns. The player has three lives and when they are all gone the game ends.
