Galixian

Galixian is a fixed screen shoot 'em up where the player has to defend the planet Sprites from an alien assault. Like in other shoot 'em ups of its kind the player controls a spaceship left and right along the bottom of the screen and shoot at the enemies above. In this game, the aliens do not appear in formations but move around the screen rather erratically. They do not fire but attempt to crash into the player who has to shoot them all down to progress to the next stage which has another kind of aliens. Before starting out it is possible to choose how many shots can be fired at a single time up to a maximum of five.
