Game of "Life" (9 × 9)

Description

Game of "Life" (9 × 9) is an implementation of Conway's Game of Life. The player can start with a pattern and watch how they evolve based on the simple rules of Conway's Game of Life.

  • Any live cell with fewer than two live neighbours dies, as if caused by under-population.
  • Any live cell with two or three live neighbours lives on to the next generation.
  • Any live cell with more than three live neighbours dies, as if by overcrowding.
  • Any dead cell with exactly three live neighbours becomes a live cell, as if by reproduction.

On the HP-97 each generation will be printed, on the HP-67 it can only be seen on the screen.
