Game of Thrones: Episode Three of Six - The Sword in the Darkness

The Sword in the Darkness continues where the previous episode, The Lost Lords, ended, continuing the story of family members of House Forrester as they struggle to prevail while being subdued and terrorized by their nemesis, the House Whitehill. Asher left Essos behind and continues his journey toward Meereen to meet with his old... comrade, trying to find enough sellswords to bring an army back home and help his house. Mira Forrester is still in King's Landing where she is considering various diplomacies that could help her family in these troubled times. Some of the events in King's Landing take place during King Geoffrey's wedding ceremony where he was poisoned and his uncle, Tyrion Lannister, was accused of murdering him, as depicted in season four of the TV series.

Back at Ironrath, Lord Whitehill's fourthborne son, Gryff Whitehill, arrives with a small army to reside over Ironrath and put the House Forrester down to the ground, trying to provoke Rodrik Forrester to give him an excuse to end him. As Rodrik, the player can try to stand tall, or bow down to the usurper until the chance to strike back presents itself. And finally, at The Wall, Gared Tuttle becomes a sworn member of the Night's Watch, and to his surprise, the Whitehill soldier who murdered his family got sent to The Wall as a punishment, and he'll have to deal with the situation one way or another. The gameplay remains the same, holding limited exploration with story-branching dialogue and action choices, along with the quick-time events during the action scenes.
