Get Rich or Die Tryin'

Get Rich or Die Tryin' is a mobile rap star simulation game made to capitalize on the movie starring 50 Cent.

In this game, players create a rapper and go all the way from rags to riches. Players have 3 years to become the best rapper and they can do so by recording tracks that chart, as well as clubbing, shooting other rappers or cars that follow them around and by having rap battles with the fellow rappers. Each action advances the game for 1 week.

Players start with 2 genres and 2 topics that they can choose when writing a song and need to have inspiration in order to be able to record something. Unlocking additional genres is done by hanging out at one of the clubs and checking what the DJ plays. As for topics, their names hint how to unlock them. It's important to manage money in the game as getting to a negative balance and not covering it up with record sales will lead to a game over.

Talking to fellow rappers may lead to rap battles which help players earn extra money, as well as unlock new clubs and studios to record better quality tracks and players are given the choice to diss a rapper when recording a track which lowers their relationship with the chosen rapper. Players can also buy bling, which can raise the rapper's inspiration level, as well as allow him to score with one type of girls.

In case the players have a very bad relationship with a rapper, they may try to shoot them on contact and players will sometimes be followed by a car with a gunman in it. In these cases, players must shoot their enemies within a short time limit or they will be shot and waste in-game time in a hospital. Going crazy in clubs may also get the rapper imprisoned.
