Gino il Pollo: Perso nella Rete is a point-and-click adventure and the official video game adaptation of the animated series of the same name, originally broadcast on RaiTre. The player controls Gino, a singing chicken who has escaped from Alamo Lab, a research facility owned by Capo Colby. Colby is conducting experiments aimed at dematerializing living beings to transfer them onto the internet. The gameplay involves guiding Gino through a series of locations and solving puzzles to advance the story. It also includes various mini-games, which are required to progress or to obtain necessary items.

The game follows the structure and themes of the animated series and it based on a satirical comic character created by digital artist Andrea Zingoni, popularized mainly through musical parody cartoons spread online.
