Golf

Golf is a 1–2 player sports game for the BBC Micro.

Players compete over 18 holes of golf. Players choose a handicap from 1–30, and a difficulty, including: hooking, slicing, poor distance, bunkers, putting, or conceit. Each hole is shown from a top-down perspective, and the player is supplied the distance to the hole. The player chooses from four woods and nine irons. When choosing a wood the player opts to hook or slice, while with an iron power from 7–99 percent is chosen. The game automatically aims towards the hole with some variation. Once on the green the game switches to a sideview where the player must input putting power from 1–15, with the correct strength needed to sink the ball. Score is carried over 18 holes.
