Great Wave

Great Wave is a game in which space ships of various types would warp into space on the screen around the player's space ship, while the goal was to shoot the enemy ships as they were attacking.

The positioning of ships warping in varies greatly to challenge the reflexes of the gamer to quickly point and shoot. In the more advanced levels, the speed and number of alien ships flying in becomes more and more challenging.

But like Space Voyager and Space Quest, which comes later, Great Wave always provides level bonuses and rewards to motivate and keep the gamer moving ahead, until they would run out of lives (ships).
