Grid Remnant is a turn-based puzzle game set in a neon-soaked cityscape where players must shape the remnants of an urban landscape before time runs out. The game takes place in a setting referred to as Grid Remnant, once known as Coin City, where fragments of the past linger in data streams and memories. With only thirty-three turns available, players must construct districts and establish Harmony between them in order to leave behind a lasting legacy. Along the way, exploring the grid reveals pieces of forgotten history that shed light on the city’s fall.

Gameplay revolves around three core actions: placing new districts on the grid, exploring existing ones for resources and memory fragments, or resting to recover energy at a potential cost. Each move contributes to the overall city structure and influences the player’s final outcome. Harmony plays a central role, as adjacent districts can form beneficial synergies or create penalties, requiring careful planning to achieve balance within limited turns.

Distinctive features include the finite thirty-three turn cycle, which emphasizes replayability and strategic optimization. The game incorporates a hidden narrative revealed through five discoverable memories, adding an element of exploration to the otherwise abstract puzzle structure.
