Halo: Combat Evolved - Anniversary

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is a remastered release of Halo: Combat Evolved for Windows and Windows Apps. It is built on the Gearbox PC port of the original game in 2003, rather than the 2011 Xbox 360 version Halo: Combat Evolved - Anniversary or the 2014 remastered version for Xbox One released as a part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

This version is optimized for resolutions up to 4k UHD and at 60+ FPS, customizable mouse and keyboard support, ultrawide support, FOV customization, and more. At any point it is possible to toggle between the remastered Anniversary graphics and the ones from the original version. The multiplayer is included as well.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is included by default in the 2019 release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, but is also available separately and standalone despite being listed as DLC. For Windows and Windows Apps it is the second game in the series for the compilation, following Halo: Reach that was made available in December 2019 along with the compilation Halo: The Master Chief Collection in an identical way.
