HoverSpeeder

A young woman becomes her hometown's champion hoverbike racer; in search for a challenge, she sets out to dethrone the world's champions and become the very best. HoverSpeeder is a time trial-based racing game. In each of the five stages, the player must beat its current champion's time to move on. Gameplay takes after classic Sega arcade racers like Hang-On; gameplay is presented using sprite-scaling, and the player controls their driver from a third person rear perspective. While there are many other drivers on the track, they're more obstacles than real opponents; the player's goal is time, not to get first in the race.
