Hunt

Hunt is a multi-player networked deathmatch game where each player is spawned in a random position in a maze. The objective is to find your opponents and kill them.

The game uses a text mode interface using the VI control keys. It tracks the facing of your character and line-of-sight, so it is possible to sneak up on enemies and backstab them.

Weapons are handled by a series of keys that shoot either bullets, or various sizes of explosives, mines and slime weapons. It is also possible to operate a scanner to locate enemies, or enable a cloak which will obscure you from scanners. All of the above take charges from a universal ammo pool. Additional ammo can be found scattered throughout the maze.

The game supports both free-for-all and team play, with up to 10 unique teams.
