Insector

Insector is a 1-player arcade game for the VIC-20.

You are the commander of the surface patrol fleet. Defend the humanoids on the planet's surface against the insect creatures of Terron. The player has a fleet of 6 ships that can be sent in 1 at a time. The Insectors try to kidnap humans on the surface of the planet. Some of these are hidden in underground bunker. If captured, the humans are pulled to the surface by alien ships. If the loaded ships are blasted, the kidnapped human will float slowly back to the surface. The player cannot reach the top of the level where alien motherships are stationed. The player can move in all directions, but only fires directly forwards.
