Terminal Invaders

Terminal Invaders is an arcade game for the VIC-20.

The player controls a small ship that moves laterally at the bottom of the screen and fires forwards. Alien invaders march back and forth, and each time they reach the end of the screen they drop one row closer to the bottom. Shoot them all to move to the next harder level. If any aliens reach the bottom of the screen it's game over. A flying saucer intermittently moves across the screen for bonus points. Three shields offer protection from alien fire, but also block the player's shots. The player begins with 3 lives.
