Galactic Defender
Description
Galactic Defender is a 1-player arcade game for the VIC-20.
You must stop the Arkon Aliens from polluting our atmosphere with their deadly poisons. Placed on a series of 5 moving platforms, the player can move left, right, and jump or fall between levels. Aliens move downwards through the layers, and if they reach the bottom they pollute the atmosphere. The player touches an alien to destroy it, and if five aliens reach the bottom, it's game over. If the player falls to the bottom they lose a life. Four power pods are located at the top of the screen. When the player collects a pod the next alien is worth 4x as many points.
