Jewel Changi Airport (included game)
Description
Jewel Changi is a large luxury shopping centre and amusement facility located adjacent to Changi, Singapore's airport. It features a large number of stores, restaurants, parks and entertainment facilities.
The Pokémon Explorer game is an AR activity exclusively playable within the Jewel Changi building. Various Bluetooth beacons are scattered throughout the facility, each decorated with a different Pokémon. When a player steps near the beacon, they can scan the photo of the Pokémon to activate a minigame themed after them. Completing each minigame rewards the player with a different selfie photo frame which can be used at the Pokémon Smile Park photo spot on floor 1 of the mall. When starting the game, players can customize their trainer by choosing their name and a companion Pokémon.
The minigames are:
- Charizard (L5): Pokémon Sky Harvest, which has players vacuuming berries out of the sky
- Igglybuff (L5): Pokémon Tree Hopping, a jump-based 2D playformer
- Mimikyu (L5): Pokémon Dark Forest, a 3D maze featuring different Pokémon to find
- Pikachu (L5): Pokémon Speeding Slides, a downhill racing game
- Popplio (L5): Pokémon Wonder Lagoon, an underwater Pokémon photography game
- Whimsicott (L5): Pokémon Flying Puff, a 3D flying game
- Mankey (L2): Pokémon Berry Jungle, a 360-degree game of catch
- Gyrados (L1): Pokémon Splash Fishing, a fishing game where players aim to catch the largest water Pokémon possible
- Magikarp (L1): Pokémon River Catch, where players must catch Magikarp using a net
