Jungle

Jungle is a 1-player arcade game for the TRS-80.

You have crash landed in the jungle of Central Park, New York City. As you emerge from the plane, you are met by spear wielding New Yorkers intent to hold you captive as domestic help. The locals make periodic sweeps from the top of the screen towards the bottom, but if the player hides in the trees, they can avoid detection. The player must avoid other pitfalls, including: rope traps which hold the player in place for 5 seconds, a snake that chases the player backwards 2 steps, and a noise from the bushes which chases the player laterally 5 steps. There are also tunnels which can move the player about the screen.
