K-Chess for Windows

K-Chess for Windows is a shareware chess tutor. The game, which can be played with the mouse and/or the keyboard can be played against the computer, another human, or the computer can play itself.

One of the features of the game stressed in it’s documentation is that there are several modes of play but the game ‘lets you see what it is doing, and so helps you to learn to play better.’
