Description
Knights & Wizards is a 2-player arcade game for the 8-bit Atari.
King Arthur is dead. Now his terrified subjects watch as the noble wizard Merlin and the rotten fiend Prince Mordred grab for Camelot's treasure! Merlin would give gold to every peasant. Mordred would coat the moat of his dungeon with it. Fiery shots cut the air as wizard battles knight for medieval riches.
The two players move their character in all directions and can fire in the cardinal directions. The field has defenses including walls and castles to block opponents' shots. If a player is hit they return to their castle. Gold bars randomly appear on the screen, and players receive a point for collecting the gold and returning it to their castle without being shot.
