Koi ni wa Amae ga Hitsuyō Desu

Koi ni wa Amae ga Hitsuyō Desu is a Japanese adult romance visual novel about a protagonist who falls in love while on a school trip.

The player takes on the role of Kento Morino, a high school student who becomes closely acquainted with one of four interesting girls during a school trip to a faraway town. These are Ouga Shishikura, his childhood friend; Hibana Karakuchi, a refined student from an all-girls' school; Chiwa Amaeda, Kento's cousin's best friend; and Michiru Aijou, a girl whom Kento meets at a coffee shop.

The game begins with a prologue set during the three days of the school trip where the player uses a map to pick which girl or location to visit every hour or two. After the prologue, the game proceeds onto the chosen heroine's route, each of which takes place a certain amount of time later (some weeks after the trip, others years after). Each heroine has two routes which progress differently depending on whether the player wants to take the lead in the relationship, or let the heroine take the lead.

The original (PC) version of the game includes scenes with sexual content which were omitted from the console version.
