Lag

Lag is a Japanese erotic visual novel where instead of winning the girls through conventional means, the player must beat them in combat. Toramasa Ibuki, a boy who has been training in the martial art of grappling his entire life, is told by his father that he must find a girlfriend within three years. Toramasa's father opens a dojo where his son can train, but seals his strength away so that he will have to regain it from scratch. On the plus side, the dojo becomes the stomping grounds for some cute girls that Toramasa can pursue.

Between the visual novel portions of the game are fighting minigames where the player fights an opponent in real-time combat. Beating opponents rewards experience points which can be used to level up Toramasa. Toramasa can go and meet a girl of the player's choice every week, and the more he goes to meet her, the higher his intimacy level with the girl will become. If the intimacy level is high enough, special events with that girl may occur. The player's decisions determine which of the four girls Toramasa ends up with.
